Palo Alto - My Town

Downtown Palo Alto is were I live. It's a very strange place. It's next to Stanford University but it doesn't feel studenty. Plus most students aren't old enough to drink, so they make all their fun in their 'Frat Houses' rather than coming out. Everyone here is rich (apart from the homeless) so it doesn't feel like a real place. Its like a toy town! People eat out every night but don't really go drinking. There are 4 bars/clubs and I'm bored of them all already. They play R'n'B every night. Its all very middle class, which makes me miss Manchester. Still, it is pretty, even if it's all a bit surreal!

This is my apartment block. Its probably the ugliest building in Palo Alto, but the are so many tress around its generally well hidden.

As you can see there are trees everywhere.
I guess this might look like a really old house if you had never seen the real thing!
